Botulinum Toxin Training Club by Dr Harry Singh
Have you noticed a rise in the number of your patients asking for Jawline Filler? Or have you noticed that this treatment is becoming more and more popular?
Yes? You are not alone; this particular treatment is definitely on the rise.
Jawline fillers can be used to enhance and even out the facial structure, providing a more aesthetically pleasing appearance.
In the past couple of years, we have seen a dramatic rise in patients (both female and male), asking for jawline filler. When I first started offering facial aesthetics 20 years ago, I remember it was a simple case of just upper third Botox and lips.
Back then you could get away with the ‘simple’ stuff. Nowadays, our patients are looking at a more holistic approach and we need to be able to assess and treat all aspects of the face.
Social media now dominates a lot of our time. Particularly by image led platforms such as Instagram and TikTok (don’t worry, you’re not going to see any dancing TikTok videos from me). Our patients are more self aware of their image both from the front and side.
When assessing a patient for jawline filler, you need to establish if it is loss of volume (dictated normally by loss of bone in this region) or skin laxity. The former is an ideal situation for jawline filler, whilst the latter will require a different approach.
At BTC, we offer a bespoke training course for Jawline Filler. Our “Advanced Facial Masterclass” is available to book now by clicking here.
